Reflecting on Module 4 Module 4 looks at Implementing Reflective-Reflexive Learning in the Digital Classroom . The module looks at the changes created by technology. The module further looks at   the changes within education and the role technology has played.  There is a discussion on the fact that technology integration can play a large role in changing our learning environments to better support the facilitation of reflection and reflective practice and the use of technology to support reflective practices. Reflection is a process. It requires introspection on the part of the learner. The learner is engaged in a process of reviewing and creating meaning from what was analysed. How reflection assignments help to construct an understanding of the issues discussed in the readings . Reflection assignments allow me to reflect on action and in action. Assignments provide me with the opportunity to do further research and analysis of information. As read the information and reflect on it I try to construct meaning from the ideas presented.  Costa and Kallic (2008) suggested that most of us go through life viewing our experiences as isolated, unrelated events. The authors further indicated that many of us see   these events as experiences and not as opportunities for learning. I have completed the  Big 5 Personality Test Online Assessment I received the following scores Openness 62.5% Conscientiousness – 67% Extraversion – 58% Agreeableness – 85% Neuroticism - 46% I finds that the assessment fits my personality closely.I am usually a very agreeable and open person who does not like to upset other persons.I do not express a lot of negative emotions and I try to fit in as best as I possibly can.I try to work with whichever team I am assigned.I tend to make friends easily and try my best to maintain positive friendships

Completing the VARK questionnaire is a requirement of the orientation activities for the course , Reflective- Reflexive Practices in technology Enabled Environments I have done this Vark Questionnaire  many times and my learning style seems to be evolving as I grow older.Initially I preferred to read. I read a lot as a child, my mom created reading environment in the home. Now I prefer diagrams,graphs and hands on learning. My current scores are: Visual 10 Aural 0 Read/Write 1 Kinesthetic 10 Having taught high school Geography for approximately 9 years,dealing with the environment, going on field trips have also impacted my learning style and by extension my teaching style. As a lecturer my learners have different learning styles and they tend to do better when classroom activities are centered around their learning style.I have also done a diagnostic evaluation at the start of my lesson to indicate how students prefer to learn.This will make it easier for me to...
